I read an article in LA Weekly that says we aren’t talking. The "we," being young college students, and "talking," referring to voicing our opinions on politics, the war, health care, and what not. So I channeled this observation/trend and used it for my magazine cover. The girl on the cover is a friend of mine, Cali, who graciously modeled for some photos. Then I photoshopped current events onto her skin to look like something between tattoos or scars—just a symbol of our generation’s composition. I really loved the white space on this cover so I added my text to the bottom of the page and kept all the font simple and straightforward because I think the image speaks for itself. ~Erin
